Yesterday travelled in this less known train of ER, Howrah Lalkuan Weekly exp, from Howrah to Asansol. This is my first ride in Lalkuan exp after it recieved its LHB coaches.

covered Bardhaman - Durgapur section in just 42mins @90.28kmph and arrived Durgapur dot on time. A 2min late departure at Durgapur was then followed by another on time arrival at Asansol. This train covered Bardhaman-Asansol stretch of 106km in just 73mins @87.12kmph including a 4min halt at Durgapur. Being a weekly train, really it was an awesome run from a train like Lal Kuan exp. Also it trolled Howrah Duronto all the way from Howrah to Asansol and didn't allowed Duronto to overtake it.
