Why are trains literally crawling on this section?
Already travelling on the Sealdah South is a torturous affair upto Park Circus due to obvious reasons, the only respite being around Ballygunge and now this?

Actually this should be the logical explanation , but the problem with that is that the train actually picks up pace once its crosses the Selimpur railgate, passes through the slum dwellings at a fairly good pace and begin slowing down at Dhakuria home signal, if ofcourse the DHK Home signal is clear....
The trains crawls for the entire stretch where it runs parallel to the Jadavpur University Campus, hence my bewilderment!

Even I had noticed the same thing on my last travel.
I do not think it has anything to do with JU. Might have to do something with the railgate.

Last week e akbar Dhakuria gechilam. Kono problem hoyni. Tai ja hoyeche actually tar kono logic amar kache nei. Late kore thike, but crawling . . !!
