This little town's station will assume significance in the future when it will become the junction for the line towards Jamakhandi and onwards to Bagalkot.
Just the lonely short PF for the mainline. The loopline is used by the crossing train and the passengers have to make do with it.
Hopefully doubling will get it a new PF.

The poles were short and also had some board placed on them. Not electrification poles I think.

Already work of land levelling is done. The RoB is pretty wide, so on one side 2 tracks are there and the other side levelling for 2 more is done. Don't understand why, because, the loopline that the passenger is entering will become the 2nd mainline when doubling is done, so why the need for more I didn't understand. Maybe pretty long looplines for the freights. And they will join the mainline after the RoB.
