It doesn't have to have board. Where is the board that says 2 PFs? There are no boards present at all.
See YNK has 4 PF of which one is double discharge PF so updated as 5.
Where is the board called no. 4 in BAY, but still it says 4.
.

This decision is taken after discussion in TLM forum. In Ballari Junction there is a bay platform (PF#1A), a through platform (PF#1), an island platform (PF#2&3). You can see pictures of platform number boards captured by me in this blog /blog/post/3224375 I don't have idea regarding Yelahanka platform numbers. "Platform no.3" which is written on notice board, might be a temporary number. PF#1 & PF#2 of Ginigera together is a double discharge platform and there are other stations in IRI like Kanchrapara (KPA) where double discharge platform is counted as one platform only. So at Ginigera whether double discharge platform is counted as one platform or two platforms will be clear after platform number boards are fixed.
How can you say that PF 3 written on board is temporary? It is written by the officials not by others.
Correct proof for platform numbers is platform number boards. As I already told you that Kanchrapara (KPA) has a double discharge platform and one normal platform but platform numbers is counted as 2 not 3. Same thing can happen at Ginigera or same thing might not happen at Ginigera. Still platforms work is not completed. It will be completed within few days and platform boards will be fixed. Wait untill then. Why hurry? If TL updater brings photos showing platform numbers as PF#1, PF#2, PF#3 or PF#1, PF#1A, PF#2 (like my photos). Then surely number of platforms as 3 can be updated. All these things are conveyed to TL updater. This is a collective decision by co-TLMs, not my own decision. Still if you have any problem, you can consult senior TLMs.
