Should definitely have an additional 3AC and couple of gen coaches. As of now this seems to be the shortest train (in terms of the number of coaches with regard to distance covered). Even some passenger trains have got more coaches.

I guess CST and Dadar has limitations in the number of coaches it can handle,thats why even Mumbai-Chennai mail and Dadar-MS SF has got less coaches,despite its huge patronage.
Dadar surely has limitation. I think not more than 16-17 can be accommodated in Dadar. But CSMT can still manage. There are trains like Konkankanya express, Gitanjali exp, Mumbai mail etc which are all 22-23 coach trains.
Since this train starts from Mumbai it can easily be augmented with at least 2-3 more coaches. All depends on SR's interest

Dadar can accomodate max 18 coaches. Same with majority of platforms at CSMT. Only pf 15-18 at CSMT are capable of 24 coaches. Maybe during the dep time of this train, those are occupied.
