The busiest it'll ever be
Kukrakhapa is in the middle of the rich forest and grasslands that form the Pench National Reserve's border. The only time it receives so many visitors and people is when the trains from Nagpur to Nainpur and vice-versa meet for a crossing.
These trains are some of the last remaining narrow gauge ones in India and like most forms of transport serving remote corners, they are a life-line and extremely crowded.
