What are the points that you love, like, dislike or hate about South Eastern Railways? Share your delightful experiences here. Let's explore the common and unique adventures that we went through at least for once.
Starting with my one.
SER feels more biased towards earnings and quick revenue generation methods rather being more inclined towards passengers' convenience and grievances. Local train services seem restricted to patches. Yes, it does have some achievements like in train announcements in some MEMUs and way proper small station maintenance yet specific sections lag a lot in freight...

1. No better connection except bengal region
For example ranchi to tata only 1 night service and 3 days intercity service
Capital is not connected with Tata even
Ranchi is still need to be connected with various cities and towns of India

I don't like SER very much, I grew up in Bokaro aur mere ko SER ka fan hone ki koi wajah nhi mili quite frankly
But as far as basic amenities at stations are concerned, even the smallest stations, i dont think there is a better zone in this country
The only real section jahan pe SER has been found wanting in terms of availability of bare necessities is the Muri-CNI section

SER has many bad points
1. IMPORTANCE NOT GIVEN TO IDENTIFY AND FIND NEW ROUTES TO PROVIDE EMU/MEMUPASSENGER/MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS. LESS IMPORTANT TO PASSENGER TRAINS MORE TO FREIGHT TRAINS.
E.G.: No proper train direct connectivity to DIGHA famous tourist spot from different parys of WB, HALDIA being a big Industrial city very very poor train connectivity no direct emu, memu trains till date from kharagpur, midnapur,purulia,burdwan, etc,etc places of WB, KHARAGPUR has huge potential also no steps to start short and long distance trains from KHARAGPUR TO GUWAHATI, AMRITSAR, NEW DELHI, ...
