c_r_srivatsan 4 blog postsI am planning to travel from Bangalore to Chennai on 31st of May 2012 ? Is it safe to travel or cancelling the tickets is the best option ? Any suggestions

You should arrange local transport in advance ,as in all likelihood on this Bundh day,there wont be any,I guess. Even at MAS you may be stranded at Central. So,reconsider your plans.Only if you must,you take precautions,at either Chennai/Bangalore,before proceeding.
Petrol Hike as affected almost everyone severely. I doubt if MAS will be lively this time..
Sir i feel there is no issues to travel. they are saying public transport is gonna be available.. Chennai is safe... moreover the A/c waiting hall at MAS is pretty decent and neat.. so u can rest a while incase of any issues. but i dont see any issues in chennai at all....
Yes..Reg AC waiting hall at MAS.Really a boon I felt..in that sweltering and oppressive furnace like atmosphere,that too after exiting Shatabdi,I felt,it was a great passenger amenity ..hope other stations too can emulate.
