So, to avoid a loco reversal make it run an extra 50 km? Doesn't make any sense unless they really want LKO to be connected to INDB via this train.
Manikpur to Jhansi is around 300km single line section. Do you think such a premium train should get delayed in this section.
The actual reason to run this train via Lucknow/Kanpur may be a Metro city factor for good patronage. via Mahoba route it is not possible because of less number of pax. I dont think its a Loco Reversal and single track.
You have a point. However, Jhansi-Mahoba doubling is on. Also, running a train on time is all about priority. If VB could run on the ALY-MUV-BSB line on time when it was half single, this train should not get delayed.
Possibly. But just for patronage, why force BSB-Ujjain pax to have a longer journey? I like that they are routing via ALD once a week.
