ITARSI's 'Unicorn' DLW Assembled 37074 WAP7i powered 11071 Dn LTT Mumbai - Varanasi Kamayani Express [HOG Enabled Img. attached] arrived for a Scheduled halt at Mkp jn bang on time on pf2. While I was waiting for my 22442 Kanpur Chitrakutdham Intercity Sf exp. Kamayani exp is one of the popular train running b/w these two cities. The train takes a slight longer route as compare to the other trains running between Mumbai and Varanasi. Despite of having many stoppages and a reversal at Prayagraj jn the train maintains a decent average speed enroute. On that day my Chitrakutdham ICE was running late because it faced back to back overtakes by late running 12362 Asansol - Csmt Mumbai Sf and by the legendary Mumbai bound Imperial Mail. A Couple of minutes later after the arrival of kamayani, Jhansi 40460 WDP 4D powered my CKTD ICE arrived on pf 3.My train...

Nothing wrong in the IRFCA entry. The locomotive indeed has the sub-class 'i' as it is an IGBT loco.
However, many loco sheds do not mention the sub-class on the loco itself.
IRI currently does not support adding a subclass for the locomotives, so until that arrangement is made, just add whatever is stenciled on the loco.

Yes Sir, i very well know that fact & at the time of posting this blog i kept that fact in my mind & for the confirmation , i've also gone through the IRFCA database. But its Okay..! 😅 Will take care from next time. I will only mention whatever will be marked on the loco..
