It would be very helpful if good quota is given in these cities as Pune don't have dedicated train for chennai and Udaipur also nagpur don't have dedicated train for Bangalore, patna, ernakulam, gorakhpur

In terms of number of trains passing it's not that much!!! Stations like Pune are far ahead.. in terms of terminus 3 daily trains from Nagpur, 2 from Itwari...

From Ajni a few trains. For a city with 30 lakh population, that is at the centre of India, that's not sufficient!!!

In

terms of railway infrastructure, 2 divisions ( CR and SECR)
Electric Locomotive shead, Ajni, 2 pit lines at Nagpur, 2 in Ajni, I guess 1-2 pit lines getting ready at Itwari.

Earnings are good with plenty of mines in the region... Yet no consolation
The station has been consistently treated as a passing station!

Lack of political initiative and the focus of CR towards Mumbai and to some extent Pune is the main reason!!!

Infact, if you track the history, the most sought for Duronto has introduced only after Vidarbha express was extended!!! That is sorry state of affairs!!!

Humsafar trains to Pune are needed to provide faster service, yet they are slow, and at inconvenient timings!!!

Last but not the least, quotas for the trains are meagre.... The best train in terms of timing to Pune is Azad Hind express, with a quota of 24 berths!!!

But I believe the people are to be blamed... Hardly any political intervention!!!!

As I always quote- Indore once had. Only 1 train Indore- Bilaspur express(Narmada express)... Today its flooded with trains... Many run empty though.. . Thanks to the interest taken by Sumitra Tai... This is how a leader works for the people!!! Incredible....

I was told that she used to camp in the ministry to argue and get the demands fulfilled!!! True leader!!!

CR always give excuses about conjunction at nagpur, let's see after completion of Ajni into Terminus how much train they introduced Ajni to have 3 pit line nd 4 new PF with good infrastructure nd Itwari to have 1 pit line and 2 new BG PF

If they don't want to introduce new trains why waste money on building the infrastructure!!!
