Gomoh is famous for Electric Loco Shed, ELS/TRS/GMO maintain 184 3 phase electric locomotives.

GMO WAP-7 derailed HWH Raj near Baruipara & made that place more famous for railfanning. Similarly, GZB WAP-7 derailed HWH-KLK Mail near Malwan Stn. So in the future, HWH Electric Loco Shed may provide the best maintenance than GMO or GZB Sheds for East Indian Trains ;-)
The kalka mail accident was mostly due to faulty tracks, as far as I could gather, but the Raj derailment though minor was due to falling off parts from the loco, which also caused extensive damage to about half a KM of tracks. Some GMO staff was punished for it too.
KLK mail derailment had nothing to do with loco problem.
But HWH rajdhani derailment was due to poor maintenance by GMO ELS which is also contained in the link provided above.

It's always a pleasure to know something new from your side. The tracks of HWH-GAYA-NDLS Route are always in a state of despair, be it Malwan or Etawah or Gomoh :-(
The density of traffic on this route is quite high be it Passenger or Goods Traffic. Due to this, getting a block on mainline for maintenance purpose is very very difficult which results in poor maintenance of track.
Although the 52 KG rails have been replaced by 60 KG Rails on majority of this route but with addition of more and more trains every year on this route the demand for alternate route will start rising with the passage of time.
