Any proposal to run passenger/express trains from/to this station? Especially MEMU trains
No Bro, Until its remaining section completes from Arcot to Tindivanam.
The track between Walajah Road and Ranipet fell into disuse in 1995 due to poor patronage. The line was relaid as part of Tindivanam-Nagari new line project in 2012 but was not being used.
However, Chennai division completed work like welding, ballasting, packing and de-stressing to make it fit for goods traffic in November 2020.

I think if they do electrification between Walajah road to Ranipettai, MEMU train service can be start from Ranipettai to Chennai Central via Walajah road and Arakkonam vice versa. It will be very useful for public.
