i noticed while travelling in BCT RAJDHANI/AUGUST-KRANTI RAJ, train jerks with a screeching sound when the brakes are applied why is it so? If it is due to the high speed, than we have to wear seat belts and listen to the music using ear phones while travelling in UPCOMING HIGH SPEED TRAIN's in INDIA in near future?

Its due to the pressure between the pads the wheels. LHB's have disc brakes n i guess, no such sound can b heard during journey in LHB's.
Only ICF's face this such kinda of sounds.
