But I have never seen Indian railways accommodating travellers in DL1 DL2 coaches.

So it means they have 4 2S coaches

It always accommodated public. Prior to covid most of them were reserved for ladies at two ends.
Post covid were converted into 2S(Reserved). So, effectively this train has 4 2s coaches and 2 Reserved slr coaches.
And the rake is old icf with average maintenance by WR Rajkot division
