dono jagah se demands alag alag hai KSK ke, Karnataka being a big state alag alag route pe 2 SKs chalti bhi hein toh kya problem hai? Dono of them have huge waiting list and if made daily would be even popular.
I believe Pune ke saath bhi same game hai jo NCR aur WCR mein hota aa raha hai, Zonal HQ khud se division ki trains ko pehle LHBfy karke baaki divison ki trains ko rok kar rakhte hein.

If Zonal HQ are LHBfying own division trains first then SWR must be an exception as their zonal HQ UBL is yet to LHBfy even a single train of their own division whereas it's raining LHBs on SBC and MYS divisions.
Same with Intercities as well like Koyna and Pragati Express.
