I think this station should be developed in order to fecilitate bypassing train. comparing to Duvvada or Simhachalam North this lies in the city
But for now that locality is totally deserted.
For Jaggayapalem station functioning, VMRDA should allot some key infrastructure & housing projects near by it.

There is no proper road connectivity to that area. Defence land will not be given to other activities for that sake any central govt entity land for redevelopment. It took 10 yrs to handover the land sought by GVMC for flyover and road expansion of station road of 2km by both IR and Navy. Even the approach road cannot be widened as there is container terminal. Moreover 2pfs need to be constructed along with water lines for fillling trains as the trains pass 350km from BZA and 400km Khurda and need to stop for 10mins and another 5mins is wasted for pickup of speed which will effect other trains in the loop both cargo and passenger. Instead a 3rd line from VsKp to Kothapalem Cabin by strengthening the existing cargo lines available for 9km from station running parallel to the present track with increase in service lines near railway station.
