Tot Seats: Avbl>440. Status RAC 73. Then how come predictions are being made for final status as RAC? How our leading predictors are predicting? I am curious.
This Tot Seats: Avbl>440 means TOTAL SEATS IN TRAIN for any given day. Post 440 Seats, it starts RAC. Post RAC, it will start WL. It is not current status.
Thanks!

So these total seats available for any given day for journey between the stations mentioned in the given PNR? Or total seats from starting point to end point? Also, why these total seats are not shown in all PNR posts?

This is recently introduced feature and hence not showed in all the PNR.
The logic is simple. It takes the reading from the 120th Day and shows here. If you see ">" symbol that means the reading was taken after 8AM so some seats might have been booked.
As regards to the Seats, then it displays from the Stations mentioned in the PNR. However, these are usually true from that Quota. For example, any train starting from Bombay CST will have same quota/seats till Kalyan (KYN).
