MPS can be increased in 6 months, need to see how many KM getting reduced. Also new line so no traffic. If electrification done KCG-YPR high speed train like Shatabdi can be started

Devarakadra to Krishna distance is 63km. The distance from SC to SBC is 15km more then via KRNT Gooty. Double line benefit is for about 145km don't think any significant reduction is timing and both with take same time.KCG MYS covers ATP 436 in 7hrs 20mins @ 60kmph but loses time to SBC because of slack and Single line. If Gooty to YNk is doubled major portion then both will take more or less same time.
