Tpty Pf 6 And new entrance status towards Govindaraja Swami Satram area
We have parking option at this entrance. Railways may develop this side for free movement as platform 1side is congestion. But the problem is platform 6looks littles isolated from pf 1-5 in between few pitlines are there for maintenance. That maintenance thay have to shift to any other place and plan a 10PF station in Tirupati
I think maintenance facility they won’t shift Tpty Main will functions as how now functioning moreover pf 6 side TTD accommodation facility is there and that open space will be useful for railways for parking facility as pf 6 is dead end one only originating/terminating trains allowed on that pf along with pf 5 and pf 1 and remaining will be for passing trains moreover TCNR railway station is provided with 3 pf s and will be functioning from next year at that time better they can terminate MAS/PDY/AJJ bound trains will reduce burden on peak time at TPTY station Kets see what will happen
Most probably platform 6 will be a deboarding platform. It will not be used for boarding of the trains in the beginning. Gradually it will be used for both boarding and deboarding once passengers get the knowledge of platform 6 in Tirupati.
Actually lot of stagnation is there in TPTY station. So better to increase the platforms to 8 atleast.
They are planning tiruchanur terminal but instead of that better increase number of platforms. Further TPTY-KPD doubling also on priority

There is no space in Tirupati elseware to accomodate pitlines and complex with 5 pitlines and 5 stabling lines.
