Sub: The saddest experience and Complete disillusionment about the Credibility of Indian Railways
In the age of profound and advanced professionalism and growing efficiency to the teeth of global advancement Indian Railways could hardly reach beyond its adolescence. This inference has been drawn from the horrible Personal experience of mine along with my family who happened to undertake a trip to the state of Karnataka by 12245 UP HOWRAH YESVANTPUR DURONTO EXPRESS in AC 2(TWO) TIER (COACH NO : A1) in the last week of September this year.

standard of the Coach (i.e: AC 2 TIER COMPARTMENT) is quite miserable in comparison to other Duronto trains usually run from Howrah and Sealdah.
The quality of the FOOD STUFF supplied to the passengers is very poor and the manner of the arrangement and distribution of the same on a rack in the said Compartment located just in front of the LAVATORY by the attendant boys in open hazardous atmosphere appears to be quite unhygienic.
This apart the presence of an implement( A BOX WITH SOME ADHESIVE) meant for “CATCHING STRAY RATS “ in the Compartment also shows the lack of Sanitation.
Lack of Supervision throughout the journey is also a striking aspect of ravaged experience of mine.
Only the graceful behavior of all the timid attendant boys appears to be an Oasis amidst the total barrenness of Shattering Experience of mine.
At night when all the Passengers were Securedly Sheltered in Peaceful Slumber on their respective berths then all those Wretched boys were found sleeping on the floor of the Passage leading to the Lavatory . It was a painful sight to every sensitive and rational soul who may condemn it to be an Outrage of Humanity in this era of enlightment.
All these gathering storm are the glaring portrait of unprofessionalism and utter frustration of the Objective lies behind the introduction of such train by the Concerned Authority.
