I want to know how many train are available i.e. starting from BENGALURU to MUMBAI

No news yet. Chalukya was a nice train point to point but now extended :(
It is highly impossible that passengers between Mumbai and Bengaluru are reduced, both being important cities. Udyan runs packed throughout the year so Chalukya was a good alternative. Don't know, but a duplicate train or maybe a Duronto is surely required.

Extension itself means YPR quota will be reduced. So less seats.
Yes. But Mumbai has very less connectivity with Southern India. it is really shocking to hear that only 2 trains from SBC. MAS has 3 trains. and CBE has 1 train(which was extended from SBC ofcourse)
