any idea how is the pantry service of this train ?? quality and variety of the food ?? on the route can someone please suggest what is worth eating on Ajmer station, Jaipur station or Bandikui / Alwar station ??
hey you know what ?? the pantry guys have increased the prices. tea is now rs 10 !!!! and b/f - cutlet / bread - rs 50 and lunch is rs 85 while veg biryani is rs 60 !!!! i was shocked when the chai wala said rs 10 !!!! but must admit the quality of tea was really good. i might be exaggerating a bit but was like home made tea with masala and elaichi and really good amount of milk. typical gujarati kadak mithi kathiyawadi chai. worth spending those 10 bucks.
the train was running with two extra SL coaches EX-1 and EX-2 on the day i traveled.
