... arrives at Ashokapuram (AP) Railway Station in South Mysuru. Then, waits for its clearance to depart further ahead toward Mysuru.

It was a delight to spot a repainted clean machine (a.k.a WDP-4D #40362) with the train. Also, the great advantage of this successful spotting is a long halt of this train at AP for 15-20 mins due to delayed signal clearance.
I had already observed the loco link of the same train from my home when it went to Nanjangud as Train 06300. Henceforth, it was easy to plan and spot it.
Also, I will be sharing the photos of the new modified Train Board (TB). Yes, it shares RSA with Dharwad Express (17301/17302) and Basava Express (17307/17308). Here's the complete updated RSA chain:

Ek sooraj se lambi dopahar ki aisi taseer par, Krishnarajapuram (KJM) shed ke Dual cab electromotive, KJM WDP-4D #40362 inki original WDP-4 loco livery mein pahuncha [jise BMTC livery bhi kehte hain] aur ek special train ko haul kar raha tha. Train No: 06299, Nanjangud Town (NTW) se Mysuru (MYS) tak.
Ashokapuram (AP) Railway Station mein ye special train ruki aur 15-20 minutes ke liye wait kari, taaki signal clearance ke baad Mysuru tak jaa sake. Aur haa, iski spotting se pehle hi main Ghar se inki loco link dekh chuka tha aur phir iss trip ki planning asaan ho gayi thi.
Honestly, naye paint ka yeh purana engine (a.k.a WDP-4D #40362) dekh ke bahut mazaa aaya, aur agar iss delayed signal clearance na hota toh ye surprise nahi mil paata.
