Hi,
Some advise please. 6 of us including 3 young teenagers are arriving at Mumbai airport at 1am and our train leaves for Goa from Mumbai Cst (CSTM) at 7am.
Can anyone advise where we can go in the mean time at this early hour in the morning? Is there a bar, restaurant, hotel you recommend we hang out in? Is there a cafe at the station? Will it be open at this time in the morning?
How

long does it take to get to the station from the airport? Should we stay at the airport until we can board our train? Any idea what time we will be able to board our train?
Thanks in advance
Peter

Sorry Pramodh, names of the restaurants given are those in domestic arrivals, but the map indicates that the food outlets at the international arrivals are also outside the terminal, but you could confirm as my interpretation may be wrong

The issue is not whether the facilities exist or not. I agree they do exist. However, where are they actually located visa vis, the immigration, customs, taxi counter, the arrivals exit etc. The only way to check this out is to go oneself or look at the map: Here is the MAP and check the visuals of the International Arrival: click here

Doesn't matter. Dont be sorry. Many including me have made this mistake in the past, to get off at the international arrivals and think we can relax over coffee for some time. In most places, I know it is not possible. I had two experiences of traveling to Goa after arriving past midnight at CSIA in the last couple of years. First time, I had a 5am flight to Goa. I had to transfer to the domestic airport immediately (as there was no place to sit) and domestic departures had seats but no food outlets were open till 4am and because of security we were not allowed to leave the terminal for a coffee. The next time I was wiser, I booked a small hotel near CST, too a cab slept for 3-4 hours and caught the Mandovi. For business (very few people actually wait at arrivals) and security reasons (they...

dont want people to stay for too long) they have a almost direct exit after the customs.
THat is why, I am extra careful in giving advice to people who arrive at international terminals
