I dont know why people are facing problem in these two trains.
Atleast Ambala Wale should be well-versed with this situation because at Ndls in morning,there are two vb Svdk and aadr for Ambala with same gap of 10 min.
Platform change can sort some problem at Ldh and umb.

One thing that NR can do in order to remove this confusion:
Provide Ambala City(Ubc) instead of Umb
Provide dhandari Kalan or Sahnewal instead of Ludhiana.
to Asr Vb 22487/88 because there is less boarding/de boarding in Asr vb from ldh and umb both.

rather , NR should concentrate on the public awareness , adequate signage , advance information systems and educate people to board the train after viewing platform no and train no.
The lowest of the lowest IQ fella , might also have the capability to understand and process this information .

Travelled to Jalandhar by road yesterday, must say that infra has improved a lot between Ludhiana and Jalandhar. In Punjab, the most prosperous, developing and vibrant region looks to be 22 KMs long Phagwara-Jalandhar City stretch due to lots of NRI investment and pumping of resources. It looks like one extended urban area. Jalandhar Cantt seems to be submerged in the center of both.
Actually Good that both Jalandhar and Phagwara got VB halts as they are contributing the most to Punjab state's treasury and economy.
