Bhai 20 saal se reh Raha hu Nagpur me. I agree younger generation are clueless, but ask older generation people of itwari, Mahal, lakadganj, etc( specially Marathi speakers) they will tell stories about this which they heard from there grand parents, how Netaji travelled on elephant from Nagpur station to Chitnis Park and his speech.

Ya simple Itwari jn hi name rahne dete...har major city ke station mein jabariya historical link khoj ke rename karne ka kya tuk banta hai?

Second session se phele hi unki death ho gayi thi in 1945.

Is hisab se to ek baar JSME par Gandhi ji aaye the to Bapudham Motihari ki tarah Bapudham Jasidih bhi rakh dena chahiye.. jab ek hi naam ka station tha to kisi aur Mahapurush ke naam par rakhte.. confusion hi karta hai aisa decision.

Having Multiple Stations under same name will lead to more confusion only.
Even now I get regular queries about Itwari and Ajni, people aren't even remotely aware that it falls under Nagpur. There's a need to add Name of City as suffix or prefix of station like Nagpur Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Itwari or Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Itwari Nagpur.
