Is forwarded SMS valid as an e-Ticket with ID for travelling.
If yes, is it true even in case of Tatkal?

thanks. AS long as the RS 50/ rule is there neither SMS nor paper is that critical. The fundamental that the eticketing system works on is that the name and age of the passenger should tally between the chart and the Id (in case of Tatkal, the number also). It also depends on the ability of the TTE to differentiate between fake and genuine ID cards
i am sure it ll be accepted .
I got sms containing only pnr , amount and no. of passenger from irctc.
I case there is 3 pax in a pnr then how other 2ll be able to exit from station if they want to exit separately or one , two of all pax at pf and tte come to check then how he ll proof he have a valid ticket.

its the same as, on one ticket(crs),what will you do if all have to take different exit? not possible ... in same way its not possible in case of SMS of e-tickets too.. a forwarded sms will under no circumstance be accepted as genuine ticket
