Want to travel in group of 7-8 from Delhi to Allahabad, preferbaly in 3A if not than may consider Sleeper, want to start after 8 PM on 22nd Feb, most trains are showing WL, pls suggest better chances of confirmation train wise

No such rule compels the TTE to wait till next Junction/stoppage...The TTE has full rights to transfer any vacant bearth to RAC pax...though if the next station is very close..say like NDLS and NZM..he may wait....
As clarified by Senior members, no such rules exist. Please get the BP changed.
