PQWL means Pooled Quota Wait List
Pooled Quota Wait List.This means that a common waitlist is shared by several small stations in a particular region. The only reason for having PQWL is that if there is surplus capacity available on any one sector, then same can be utilised by the waitlisted passengers of some other sector within the same region.
However having a PQWL ticket does not guarantee that the ticket will be confirmed.
