BACK TO OLD AGE..........
today my friend booked ticket 4m CNGR to MAQ... She got punched ticket as in some 15 years ago... NO pnr... js handwritten berth no., train no. n DOJ. She s n confusion whether TTE would accept dat so n so... pls anyone clarify dat still is it prevalence ? She booked it from an extnsn counter r smethng lyk dat in a remote place cald aranmula near CNGR. even me too startled wen i saw dat tkt... guys pls ve a luk...

This type of ticket is still issued where computerized reservation is not the norm. You yourself have said that it is an extension counter, probably at a college. Definitely, TTE is bound to accept it, but I do not think Aranmula is a remote town, close to Chengannur en route the famous Sabarimala shrine. But guys please let me know what that "OA" after Aranmula stands for?
