Yes All quota in 3AC were available from origin i.e. MAJN 78 seats in genreal,
24 in CK and HO quota was untouched at the time of chart preparation so I got my choice seat.

There are actually many such trains where you may see quite a number of cancellations resulting in the allocation of berth numbers of your choice. Infact I have also seen trains offering Lower Berths in most of the cases against PNR situations like yours. (Brought as Waitlisted)

But LB quota seats are 95% time between start or end of the coach. this makes this pnr suspicious. you info if helpful
Travelling in A.C. coaches in railway is such a delight.!!!! I hate Sleeper class....
