Now, the train has tech halts at
Adra Junction, Gaya, Mughal Sarai Junction & Kanpur Central.
Hence there is no need for technical halt at Gaya.

The train runs a 6 hour long non-stop run from CNB to NDLS and it can do the same from Adra junction to Mughal Sarai Junction.
In this case, evening dinner can also be loaded at Mughal Sarai Junction and generaly dinner is provided after 21:00 in trains.
Pantry serves the 1A passengers, food for 2A, 3A, SL are carried at GAYA.
Dinner are provided after 8pm on any running trains.
MGS timings are at 9pm (provided on time) while arranging the packets and segregating order specific menus would require another 30-45 mins.hence the dinner time would stand at 10pm which is beyond the service rules of PC.
Hence picked up from Gaya,packeted and distributed within 90 mins time.

Most of the trains where PC is present, Food loaded from Base Kitchen are packeted and segregated as per the Order Menus.
