Harshad Kurduwadikar 24 blog postsThis train is acting like an white-elephant. See total no. of seats available on next Monday. This train was running with low occupancy in this summer also, when there was huge rush to other trains. It's better, if this train is extended to Aurangabad. Plenty of times, this train is used for Aurangabad-Tirupati Special Express. What say guys?

Nanded station has many facilities as compared to AWB station like rake maintenance......even Jalna-Nagarsol demu train comes to Nanded for maintenance purpose..
Sir, Let me correct you.. Jalna-Nagrsol Demu Passenger will goes to Maulali on every week for maintainace purpose. Since, Maulali only has infrastructure to do maintainace of DEMU. This passenger is the victim of lack of infrastructure facilities of Nanded Division. In last year, this train was coming daily to Purna Station just to refill Diesel and come back. Even Manmad is nearer than Purna, SCR continued to fill Diesel at Purna due to which it was running near 53,000 KM throughout year, without carrying any passengers, just for Diesel refilling at Purna and rake maintainace at Maulali. Few months before when Hon. Railway Minister Mr. Bansal had visited to Aurangabad. He came to know about this foolish activity, and given orders to Central Railways, Bhusawal Division, to allow this train to refill Diesel at Manmad JN. This train is introduced for Sikh piligrims travelling to nanded from Bengal, Jharkhand and Chattisgarh. As it is intended for Nanded it cannot skip it. Best option is to extend upto AWB.
best option:-
extend it upto awb as 22767/68 . via akola-purna , with a part attach/detach at purna for ned. vice versa for 12768.

Current route is the best option as there is no need to attach/detach/loco reversal and can be easily extended to AWb.
