the status of ur tatkal ticket will move towards confirmation when there is a cancellation of confirmed tatkal ticket (very unlikely) or cancellation of tickets which have lower WL than ur ticket. Even in best case if it confirms you will be able to know your seat number only after chart preparation. Or else there is no method to know before chart preparation if ur ticket is confirmed
