Travelling without id proof what is procedure for refund after paying penalty to TTE..
I actually booked my ticket through e ticket , but travelled in train without id proof and tte charged penalty of 250 plus actual fare
Now to get refund of the ticket booked through e ticket , I filed tdr wat is the next procedure ...kindly help...

If you can go to chennai you can submit for the Refund to Chief Commercial manager office is located in Near Chennai Central,in Moore Market Complex else would suggest to visit the Station and speak to SM,they could guide you.

You can apply with copy of The certificates, issued by TTE/Conductor. (in your case fine receipt) plus copy of the ID and plus copy of the ticket. Definitely, you are eligible for refund. If possible go personally and meet the CCM (refunds) directly with originals and apply directly at the zonal HQ. please taake care to keep sufficient copies of the originals with you for later reference.
