The Best overnight train for NGP is SC-NGP Triweekly SF express. The train is running with good occupancy and chances are their for making this has daily in upcoming budget .
well i agree it is a good train dedicated to ngp ..but timing wise i would say best train is 17005 hyb- dbg exp..the train seldom gets late and takes approx 30 mins less than triweekly between sc and ngp...but my point was different ..that currently 17007 is having no stops between bpq and gondia , so run it via NGP , on tue & sunday also we get connectivity to NGP untill triweekly becomes daily ..
if this becomes daily then it would be the best present for all NGP - SC passengers :)
SC-DBG biweekly must run via NGP Because BPQ-Gondia section is not electrified and changing of engine from Electric to Disel at BPQ is Quite difficult So SCR is running with disel engine from SC to gondia in both directions if the train is made to run through NGP the train can entirely run with elctric engine and train can be runned with good speed
oh!! i wasnt knowing that as i have never travelled by this train ..then definately via NGP is preferred rather than using diesel loco from SC to G
