Mumbai-Goa route is one of the most popular routes of India. People are taking buses to goa from just because they're not getting a faster connection through raiways hence it's the duty of IR and CR as well to provide a faster connection like shatabdi/AC express/Duronto in this route.
To start off.. Weekly AC Express is enough starting on Fridays from LTT and Saturdays from Madgaon, may have RSA with 22109/10.
Check on every Friday night konkan Kanya runs on high WL..
Also a daily SF Express is needed from Mumbai-madgaon leaving LTT at night..
Shatabdi can be brought into picture only after doubling of KR..

But there's a need of Shatabdi on this popular route. A shatabdi'll produce good patronage on KR route.
An over night Duronto/AC SF express will be a good option also.

Speed constraints on KR will not allow to introduce on Shatabdi, In monsoon two rakes needed to run daily Shatabdi, also during non-monsoon same rake has to return back..
So many operational constraints and speed limit on KR dont make a Shatabdi possible currently..

Why Shatabdi is needed? Jan Shatabdi is already Running & King of KR Route. Fastes train between Madgaon & mumbai
