I think, a good decision would had been augmenting JS with these coaches and hauling it with twin loco's... Same slot...and no need to monitor a extra train

JS do have RSA else its impossible to manage Rake run in-time & properly maintained for JS!! In this situation, the combo run succumb in itself!!
I think u state it as u wish the Shatabdi SPL to run till MAO!!

Agree about demand...But , then people wont be unhappy if JS got more capacity as per my suggestion. My thought was, running two trains , back-to-back on a single line may be a difficult thing for controllers and delay of first train will have a cascading effect on the other.
It cant be managed, as AWB/MAO JS manages with 3 Rake to cover maintenance slack!! If it was possible, then AWB & MAO JS would have been running with dedicated Rake & no need of RSA would have arrived!! The main reason of this Shatabdi running till Karmali not MAO is to manage Maintenance TAT @ CSTM!!
Further, JS capacity dont improve as the coaches gonna will remain earmarked as Shatabdi with different fare structure!! It dont will help 2S Passengers!!
