Daily Many people travel from MAS/MS, AJJ travel to RU, KOU, RZP, HX, YA, TU & GY/GTL and vice versa. Though there are West bound trains its difficult to get seat in them. I strongly feel that there should be an intercity exp between MAS/MS - GY/GTL - MAS/MS.

on similar lines there should be a train between NDLS to MAS and NDLS to SBC ...

Yes, An overnight durunto to SBC will be sucessfull, but consider this route.
Instead of taking the regular AJJ-JTJ-BWT-SBC route, if the duronto takes MAS-SA route and after a loco reversal it takes SA-Dharmapuri-HSRA-SBC will the duronto recieve any patornage?
Instead of 6hrs of regular journey it...

They have to give that train as Chennai New Delhi AC Duronto. & that coaches to Chennai Madurai Duronto express. Non-AC Coaches will get occupied.
