Bhopal division is already big.
1) khandwa - Itarsi - Bhopal - Bina line.
2) Maksi - Guna - Gwalior line
3) Bina - Guna line.

it will become too big. Anyway it's just a division not a zone and that too in same state. So who will take objection if Harda division is formed. In fact load on Bhopal division will reduce. Both will benefit.

A division helps in better administration of the railways and also the devolpment of the town it is based at.
Day before yesterday there was discussion going on very less number of divisions in MP. A large state like MP has only 3. Maharashtra has 8. Rajasthan has 5 etc.
All over India there are many divisions which are very small. So its nothing new.

are many new lines proposed in MP and after their completion, new divisions will be required. Such as :
1) Indore WR ( Indore - Dahod line, Indore - Chota Udaipur line, Indore - Khandwa line, Indore - Manmad line)
2) Chhindwara SECR ( Nagpur - Chindwara line, Chindwara - Nainpur line, Jabalpur - Gondia line)
3) Satna WCR ( Katni - Manikpur line, Khajuraho - Rewa - Singrauli line, Satna - Rewa - Mirzapur line)
4) Harda WCR ( Indore - Betul line, Khandwa - Itarsi line ).
This will make 7 divisions in MP ( 3 existing + 4 new ).

Lines in Bhopal division
1) Indore - Harda - Betul
2) khandwa - Itarsi - Bhopal - Bina
3) Bhopal - Rajgarh

both at the same time. Above lines are when Harda division is not formed instead Guna is formed. Guna division looks better than Harda division. So in my opinion WCR should make only Guna and Satna divisions in future.
