Mahamasthakabhisheka is held once in 12 years where millions of people visit Shravanabelegola. This event of Mahamasthakabhisheka holds special importance for Jains along with others including foreigners who find it interesting.So logically this trains should be till Shravanabelegola to facilitate passengers. Railways should extend this train for this one-time event. I am sure there must be operational reasons such as loco-reversal etc., but considering the fact that this is just a one time event and the event is of international importance the provisions can be made. Moreover, this special train reaches Hassan at 04:30 Hrs (click here which is about 60 km away from Shravanabelegola. instead, continue train till SBGA for the sake of passengers.

22635/22636 Mangalore-Madgaon-Mangalore S/F Exp train may be recommended for cancellation due to poor patronage ( click here ) . Instead of canceling, this train can be extended till Hubli Jn. It would connect North/Central Karnataka with Coastal Karnataka. Currently, there is no connection between the two cities.

Train Nos 17325/26 Vishwamanava Express (Hubballi-Mysore), seems to be an unreserved express train. No reservation of seats allowed? can someone please confirm it?
