Most unreliable train, book this train if you are unable to get tickets on other trains, give this the last priority. Mostly it gets cancelled, and all your journey will be mashed up.

The problem is after booking tickets, the railway cancels this train and you will receive the cancelation message. But that is also not certain, if railway officials are in the mood, they will execute this train. It happened to me twice.
The Doubling of Rajpura Patiala Bathinda is in full swing. Hopefully the project shall be completed by end of September 2021

#Electrification of Rajpura-Bathinda section in full swing. Portal mast foundations to start in PTA yard in 4-5 days. Open line masts have been erected from Rajpura upto Nabha. Priority is to Electrify the existing single line from Rajpura-Patiala-Dhuri before Doubling starts for Rajpura Bathinda section later this year.

Mast can be seen after Patiala towards Patiala Cantt. I think the priority is upto PTA and meanwhile doubling + electrification is going to take place after March but the whole Idea is to electrify till Bhatinda. right?

Travelled from Lucknow to Ambala on 27-Oct-2018. S7 is attached after S6 so now, this train is running with 7 sleeper coaches.
