Please enable me to add chains. I had added a couple of useful ones earlier. But now I can't. I have a few useful ones in mind. Thanks.
I find that in many trains from Howrah/Sealdah like Mithila Exp, Gangasagar Exp, Amritsar Mail, Purbanchal Exp, there are a number of berths available (70-100 in SL and 20-30 in 3A), even for today, tomorrow and EVERY day, even though these trains are heavily booked (WL > 100-200) for their regular long distance destinations. What are these seats? Can I really book these seats, say from SDAH to ASN in 13185 Gangasagar Exp? Thanks

Sumit Kumar 24 blog postsI want to take a ticket from Chennai to Kharagpur on 7 Nov 2012. It shows WL#3 in 3A. While in the same date MAS to PNBE shows Available 9. How come this anomaly? I really don't want to pay the fare all the way till PNBE when I have to get down at KGP.

How can a waitlisted ticket in Tatkal get confirmed (that too in 2A), given that Tatkal confirmed tickets are not allowed to be cancelled?
