Day before yesterday started prelim and signal work of lifting the 1st ROB.

Last friday, 20th Dec. For the first time in my life, i traveled in Shatabdi. 12027 Chennai- Bangalore Shatabdi. It was really nice trip. Very well cleanly maintained train. Nice interior, felt like volvo semi sleeper bus. I never thought interior of Shatabdi will be like this. I had booked window seat to experience the fast of train. But never felt that train was travelling that fast. In truth, it was travelling fast and it reached Bangalore on time and Bangalore Cant before time.

Bangalore it was Kannada film song.. In between ad and Just for Laugh program.
Foods they served were, Sandwich and Halwa just after the train left Chennai. Followed by Tea/Coffee. 1 bottle of mineral water. After that they served something else, i was very sleepy and not in mood to eat. So said no... Before dinner, they gave soup. Followed by Dinner(Dal , Panneer Curry , Roti , Rice.. Sabji and curd). Then everyone's favorite ICE CREAM :)
And ya they did switch off AC as the train was reaching Bangalore. Providing better temp to enjoy inside.
Saw two rail fans taking video of our train at Basin bridge. Just one piece of request from my side, stay away from track.

This incident happen to me on 20th Dec at Chennai central. I was going to catch Bangalore Shatabdi. One man came to me and told that he has been pick pocketed. If it was some one else, i would not have believed it. But he was talking in my native language and started conversation by saying that which train goes to Shoranur after 12685. shirt pocket((which was torn) and told that someone had pick pocketed. He lost his mobile, purse and all. He asked for 200rs and was asking me. whether i was also going in 12685, if yes i will give the cash back once i reach Palakkad. Feeling sad, i gave him 100rs and told that i am going to Bangalore not to Kerala.
But when i was about to get into Shatabdi, another person came and told the same story, this time in tamil saying he needs to go to Andhra, someone has pick pocketed him. I understood my mistake, i told, no i don't have anymore cash, i just helped one. He left. Then i discussed this with my friend and he was saying such things are very much common, they just cheated you with lies. You were been fooled..
I have been in Chennai for almost 1yr. But have never encountered this before. So still its hard to digest for me. Still am not sure whether they were telling lies or not. Hope i was not been fooled.
Anyway beware of liars
