krishnameledom 18 blog postsIsland express was delayed by around 3.30 hours. Got stuck in Somanur, (between coimbatore and Thiruppur) for around 3 hours.

krishnameledom 18 blog postsI am a frequent passenger in 16527 to Palakkad. This train is unnecessarily holding its time after Coimbatore to bypass Mangalore Mail, 12601.
It will wait for 10 mins before Pothannur and will leave only after 12601 passed Mathukarai. Fun is that 12601 has ample time to reach Palakkad/ Shornur. Only Palakkad passengers are facing difficulty because of this. Its high time, railway should consider passengers constrain in reaching destinations on time.

Yes, it should revert back to its old time table. I remember 16527 reaching Palakkad before time @ 3:45.
