Short-termination and cancellation of trains leave passengers stranded in Kerala

Heavy rainfall caused waterlogging on the railway tracks near Akamala between Vallathol Nagar and Wadakkanchery in Thrissur, disrupting train services to northern Kerala on Tuesday. 2 rescheduled. Services resumed normalcy after 4 pm. To accommodate stranded passengers, a special train was operated between Thrissur and Ernakulam. The affected trains included Palaruvi Express, Venad Express, Parasuram Express, and Kottayam-Nilambur Road Express, which were either short-terminated or commenced service from different stations. The cancelled trains were 06445 Guruvayur-Thrissur daily express, 06446 Thrissur-Guruvayur daily express, 06497 Shoranur-Thrissur daily express, and 06496 Thrissur-Shoranur daily express. The list of partially cancelled trains and their respective short-termination or commencement stations are provided in the article.

Shaam 4 baje ke baad services normal ho gayi. Passengers ko adjust karne ke liye, Thrissur aur Ernakulam ke beech ek special train operate ki gayi. Affect hui trains mein Palaruvi Express, Venad Express, Parasuram Express aur Kottayam-Nilambur Road Express shamil thi, jinhe ya to short-terminate kiya gaya ya alag stations se service start ki gayi. Cancelled trains thi 06445 Guruvayur-Thrissur daily express, 06446 Thrissur-Guruvayur daily express, 06497 Shoranur-Thrissur daily express aur 06496 Thrissur-Shoranur daily express. Once the train used to leave at 14:30 and arrive CAN at 23:45 now its arriving at 00:50 AM next day. TVC div really ruining train to the max.

Both 12075 and 12076 plus 12081 and 12082 should be converted to LHB.

train should operate with 3 LHB rakes on all days , with 12076 leaving TVC at 06:00 AM should arrive CAN at 13:30 PM (extended to CAN) and return should leave at 14:25 PM and arrive TVC at 22:15 PM with PM in TVC to leave as 12081 next day afternoon

With PM completed the train should leave as 12082 next day afternoon at 13:00 PM to arrive Kasargod at 22:45 PM via Kottayam and return should leave Kasargod at 05:00 AM 14:45 PM with PM at TVC to leave as 12076 the next day morning

3 LHB rakes with PM at SR TVC - all 7 days a week
