the CC for 12709/10 train will never be updated until someone drops a blog this is not the first time, most of the people blindly follow IRI for CC and this is the 2nd day that 12709 is running AC 1ST but still CC isn't updated. and no one updated. and this is the same thing with most of the underrated trains.

The concept of IR and RB is simple and should understand that SL class traveller should travel in 3ACE or 3AC while 3AC in 2AC so the number of 2AC are being increased from 1 or 2 to 3-4 coaches. The concept of 3ACE is to upgrade SL traveller to AC class and keep the fare inbetween SL and 3AC but they have fixed fare almost equal to 3AC which is the biggest blunder and 2023-24 production plan they have more 3ACE then 3AC in numbers.
I came to know that there will be no refund as they are marking the coaches as 3A instead of 3E. Even the ticket is issued with B series for 3E coaches. They will only issue tickets with M after the CC change in Jan. It is very unfair if it's true, paying 3A fare for those uncomfortable 3E coaches.
But they are clearly issuing tickets with B series, and the 3E coaches are marked as B1, B2 and so on, instead of M. So, how will irctc refund the amount if there is no proof that passengers are traveling in 3E coaches.
I had booked a ticket and after charting i got a sms that i am entitled for a refund of fare difference
