Description/Uses/Merits of this ΣChain The same train Garudadri Exp becomes Tirupati-Chamarajanagar from Tirupati. [so No RISK is in this chain].
This chain is ONLY GOOD for Chennai-Chittoor, not good for Chennai-Katpadi-Chamarajanagar. [refer its map for more detail] |

During Pre-Covid days, in this train, the unreserved compartments were treated as Second Sitting (Reserved) and the Sleeper compartments were treated as UR.
Is it still the same ?
The rake composition looks different now.

It shows 500 tickets in sleeper.
But my full trust is that no one is going to respect this. This train is a office goers train between MAS to AJJ / TRT. Beyond TRT, this runs relatively empty.
1635 is too early for office returnees in a city like Chennai it should be speeded up to leave at 1735 2045.
This train caters to heavy office returnees. I have witnessed this in 2019. SLB will be down and three to 4 will be sitting. But I guess now the number of compartments has increased. A huge rush will board at PER.

AZT~ 3220 blog postsIn today`s edition of The Hindu, they have stated that out of 61 km between MYS & CMNR, 60 km have already been electrified. Only 1 km is pending which is stuck as the railway line is close to airport and officials are vary if these electric lines may pose electrical interference issues to flight controls of ATRs of Indigo and Air India Regional.
Afaik, Kochi and Begumpet airports are also close to railway lines but they are working fine right... Is mys airport a different case?
Maybe those also needed time to get certified for electrification, who knows. Those sections were electrified long ago.
