Coro became sorrow in down direction.. Vizag controllers trolling it like some 3rd class local passenger train these days.. Today at VSKP the line up was 125151284222818. 12515 arrived at 20:32, 12842 at 20:39 and 22818 at 21:07. VSKP controllers allowed to depart 12515 at 20:58 which is OK, but 22818 which arrived half an hour after 12842 departed 20 mins before 12842. Just to allow 22818 to go ahead of 12842, VSKP controllers again detained 12842 for 1 hrs 16 mins.. What a shame.. Last week also same thing happened with 12842 detained for more than an hour just to allow 22818 to run ahead.. And this has become regular now. 12842 not able to leave VSKP within 20 minutes of scheduled halt.. If VSKP can't handle this then don't allow to enter it VSKP.. 12842 has become a laughing stock now.. HWH to SHM is taking close to 30...

When MyS HWH is cleared in the same route why will Vskp divisional keep coro with them blocking the PF? Do they any special interest or earn something by it?
Bro what do they want that is known to themselves only.. I am just trying to say that last week also same thing happened. 12842 arrived VSKP prior to 22818 but VSKP controllers detained 12842 for more than an hour to let go 22818 before 12842.. How come technical issues with rake may occur on every Monday only at VSKP? Let's see what happens next Monday.. I am sure if Corp arrives with 30-40 mins delay at VSKP same thing will happen.. This is routine these days at VSKP..
VSKP has been becoming a bottleneck along with RJY in the HWH-MAS route.
Imo more trains should byepass VSKP and RJY end should be also doubled asap for allowing seamless movement of traffic.
Coro has been destroyed by ECoR, first by making it a local train in Odisha and then this drama in VSKP

So Vskp DRM likes Coro on every Monday and keeps it on PF for no reason. Yesterday came at 2035 and left at 2100. Late is due to track repair work at Tadepalligudem to Nidadavolu all trains were heldup at TDD for an hour at 1500
TDD to NDD is fine and justified. Here the talk was about detention of 12842 for whopping 1 hr 16 mins at VSKP.. VSKP has developed habit of detention of 12842 for considerably more time than its scheduled halt of 20 mins these days.. Today also halted for 36 mins.. If BZA can manage LR in 10-15 mins then why can't VSKP?

Surface_transport 281 blog posts12842 Coromandel express takes 6:20 hours from MAS to Vijayawada with only 1 stop in between. But 12840 MAS Howrah mail covers in 6:05 hours with 7 stops.

I have travelled by Chennai Howrah mail about 5 times. 4am arrival at Howrah was very useful to catch locals, less crowd in current ticket counters also. Now all gone. Coro also goes to SHM, when I travel again Coro is only option, get down at Santragachhi, take 2 locals (via HWH)
Railways planned most of the line my march 2023. ya 1 year will be a good amount time.
This train should cover distance in 24 hrs. No idea when 130 kmph will be done through out
KUR cannot be skipped crew change point.
BAM can be done with there as can be JJKR also
